Please read this before your first visit so that you are prepared.

Arrival

Please ensure that you are on time; not early and not late; arriving late will mean that your session time will be reduced, and arriving early may mean that the room is not yet prepared for your session. Please note: there is no waiting room.

Payment

Payment can be made via BACS or cash, and is to be made before the session ends.  If you are being invoiced, please make the payment at least 24hours before the appointment. Community Access Healing sessions are payable on booking.

 

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation fee will be applied if you cancel your session less than 24hrs before your appointment; this fee is 50% of your session fee.

If you forget to come to an appointment you will be charged the full session fee.

Please note for Community Access Healing day sessions there is no cancellation, nor refund.

Getting here:

Driving: Mallows Field is just off Colchester Road, almost opposite the junction for Pretoria Road, and a little way back along from the Co-Op, in the opposite direction to the high street.

​

If you are coming up from the bottom of the town, come up along Parsonage Street, passed the building that was the Griffin pub and then at the little roundabout by the flats, keep going straight; this is now Mallows Field (Parsonage Street curves to the left) and it continues to a junction with Colchester Road.

By bus: There are bus stops, one on each side of the road, right outside the Co-op that is mentioned above.

The FirstGroup number 88 on the Colchester route stops here.

Once you have alighted, turn so that the Co-op is on your right and head to the staggered junction. The road on the right is Mallows Field; head down there.

​

Parking: usually available on the road opposite the house; however in the evenings it can be challenging to find somewhere.

There is usually parking to be found down Harvey Street (a little road almost opposite) but it might be towards the end of that road, so please allow time to park and walk back without stressing yourself.

More detail: The house is 2/3rds of the way down the hill (Mallows Field) on the right hand side. There are three number 1s, but if you look up at the houses on the right you will see that they share names. Ours says “Orville”, the ones further down the hill say “Evelina”. There is brass number 1 on our black wooden door, and the driveway will have any combination of my red mini and my hubby’s big black car. See picture below.

If you see the house with “Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men” in the garden you have gone too far down the hill, we are 2 doors back up the hill.

​

If you are unsure, please just call, it is quite common for the 1st or even 2nd time that clients come to the address that they get confused.

​

Clothing

Please wear comfy clothing that you can relax in and also allows full range of arm movement (for tapping).

 

Stairs

The Healing Sanctuary is on the top floor of our home, so please be aware you will need to climb 2 flights of stairs.  If this is not possible, I need to know ASAP, as it will mean relocating all my equipment to another room before our session, it may also mean rescheduling your appointment for that to be possible.

 

Drinks

Water will be available for all sessions over 1 hour.  For those coming to Community Access Healing days, please bring your own water.

 

Toilet

On the first floor, to the right as you look at the wooden panel, is the main bathroom which is for your use while you are with me. (While I have clients, the rest of the household uses a separate bathroom).  A small hand towel will be placed on the basin for you to use. 

There tend to be natural breaks when you can use the facilities, but it’s always OK to just say; healing work often heightens the need to expel waste.
