Sweet-Tooth Breakthrough Session
This session is for those who are self aware but recognise that despite all their self development work, can't quite kick the sugar habit. The aim is to break your connection and addiction to sugar based foods; this is processed sugary foods such as sweets, biscuits, cakes. The more we eat them the more crave eating them, and that in turn gets in the way of our health goals.
How is it done?
In this session I use some NLP (neuro-linguistic-programming) techniques, some energy clearing and hypnosis. At the end, the aim is that you do not want or need to eat the sugary foods that you used to AND you do not miss them.
It's a complete reset ... which always surprises my clients! They struggle to believe it's really as easy as that. But it is!
NLP techniques are a great way to scramble connections in the brain to certain thoughts/feelings and patterns of behaviour.
Then, we use hypnosis to instruct the subconscious mind (the part of the mind that holds all of the programming for habits, thoughts, behaviours and ways of being) to release the parts of the problem that are being held in place and to replace them with supportive ways of being or strategies or thoughts.
Simply put, we care for the parts of you within that have been crying out for sugar for a sense of safety, connection or care.
Once those parts are cared for, the need to eat sugar is gone.
This then allows us to reach our goals with ease; no will power necessary!
Often, particularly when food gets in the way of our goals, the behaviour or pattern that we see as an issue, is rooted with a belief that this an unhelpful way of being, is actually a way to care and love ourselves. With hypnosis we unhook that belief and ask the mind to find other healthy ways to care for the self.
This approach is enough for those who are self aware, have good self care routines and can't work out why sugar is still part of their lives when everything else has changed.
If however, you have issues with food, coupled that with low self esteem then I recommend the Freedom from Emotional Eating programme, which will help you create a sense of self love and care as a foundation and then allow you to gently release how food has been used to soothe your emotions and unmet needs.
What to expect
When you come for this break through session, we'll talk through your goals/aims and create some affirmations that we bring into the hypnosis work. We'll 'break' your initial connection with some NLP techniques and once you've recalibrated from that experience, we begin the hypnosis which will last approximately an hour.
When you are being put in to a hypnotic state, you'll have a comfy lounger to lay back in, with a blanket if that feels reassuring and my voice will relax you down into hypnosis.
Hypnosis tends to feel, for most people, very relaxing and yet at the same time, having a great awareness of the voice of the therapist. The body feels heavy and the mind focused. It's like being absorbed in a great book or film; you're gripped but if an emergency occurred you'd be in full attention instantly.
Within about 10 minutes of the end of the session you will be safe to drive. sometimes you may need a snack, particularly as it's a long session, so bring something healthy! I provide water.
After the session, clients report feeling no interest in sugar AT ALL.
They don't miss their old favourite comfort foods and there's no sense of having to control themselves.
There's nothing within them that wants to eat sugar.
Instead, they naturally focus on healthy choices and don't use other foods to compensate. This is due to the regression piece within the hypnosis, where we care for the parts within who have been 'shouting' for attention / love through the use of sugar. Therefore, no will power is needed and the old foods are no longer a problem. As you'll see from the testimonies below, this dramatic shift feels astounding to most of my clients because they could not believe that was possible for them and yet they live in this new reality easily. Having a clearer head has also been mentioned, not just because sugar is out, but also because they have space in their minds to focus on their lives instead of food.
Normally 1 session is sufficient.
What if I've never had hypnosis before?
That's ok. Going into a hypnotic state is like watching a really captivating film or being absorbed by a good book; it's a change of state, or awareness. It's like getting where you were going to without noticing all the parts of the journey; whether walking or driving; your body did the work, but your mind was occupied.
What most people experience is that their body's become very relaxed, so much so that they can't be bothered to move. While your body and your nervous system rest, your mind, particularly your subconscious mind listens intently.
Can you make me do something I don't want to do?
There are many stories about people doing things that they wouldn't normally do, such as behaving like a chicken on stage. I want to reassure you that this won't happen to you, with me. Under hypnosis your the subconscious will pay very close attention to what I say, and it is making sure that any instructions or ideas that I may give you are in alignment with who you are and your core values.
I also want to reassure you, that I will not be putting any instructions in, that you are not in agreement with before the session starts. We are doing therapeutic work together, not stage hypnosis.
If, for instance, you went along to a hypnotist show, hoping for a good time, and don't mind pretending to be a chicken in front of people; you think it's fun and you like to make people laugh, then you will go along with that instruction, being the best chicken you can be, enjoying peoples laughter and feeling confident as you do it. But if that did not sit well with you, you know you'd feel humiliated or unsafe, then you wouldn't volunteer and your subconscious wouldn't take the instruction.
When you feel safe and what the therapist is saying fits with who you want to be and is in alignment with your values, then the subconscious will flourish in its work with your mind, helping you be the best version of yourself.
Similarly, if I ask you to remember a time where you felt confidence and in control and to bring those feelings back to you, your subconscious knows exactly where to take you to access those feelings, allows them to flood into your emotional body and helps you feel confident and capable.

"I want to share this journey with you all as it’s something that has changed my life.
I had one hypnosis session with Claire on 17th June. My hypnosis was for a life long addiction to sugar.
It’s been so difficult for me to deal with this addiction even through practices like meditation, yoga and therapy and trying to change up my diet and monitor my food intake but nothing really managed to stop me bringing sugar back in.
For me I first had to really admit I had a problem with sugar; it just tasted like freedom from my emotions. A beautiful little plaster to cover the emotions which I found really hard to deal with and that’s ok, we are all human, and it was the best I could do.
I’ve been seeing Claire for various treatments over the last few years and decided it was time to cut out the sugar.
Since the treatment I haven’t consumed any sugary confectionary (and over a month for me is unheard of) but not only that I don’t feel the need for these things in my diet. When I want something sweet which is quite rarely, I opt for fruit.
Now every-time I step on the scales it’s a pleasant surprise and without changing anything else in my life I’m down by 1.3kg!
I feel happier, with much more energy, I don’t feel like my energy drops throughout the day, my skin has completely cleared up, my eyes are whiter, my attention span and focus is the sharpest it’s ever been, I’ve noticed a significant decrease in cellulite and with that I feel waaay sexier!
I wanted to put this out to you all in case there’s anyone out there who is struggling to deal with a form of addiction which just keeps taking over their life. There is freedom from it in a healthy way. The brain can be re-wired at any age to help choose what’s really right for you. Claire’s hypnosis gave be back my unwavering will power and to deeply connect to my body to make healthier choices.
Very very grateful to Claire for this treatment!"
"Sweet-Tooth Breakthrough session review 😃
THE BEST DECISION REGARDING MY HEALTH EVER 😃🙏❤️
Nearly 11 weeks ago I had had enough of binge eating and uncontrollable cravings, for chocolate, cakes, biscuits sweets and sugar in general 😳🙁
I had decided to see Claire at Your Soul Energy as I was desperate for help.
I booked the appointment and felt a little apprehensive but shouldn’t have worried.
When I arrived and we started the session I was so at ease, she was absolutely wonderful, extremely kind and understanding.
It’s now been 10 weeks and 5 days since my Sweet-Tooth Breakthrough session and I am totally amazed 😃
I have not wanted to eat ANY chocolate, cake, biscuits, sweets or even sugar!!!!
Claire is WONDERFUL at what she does ❤️ Even whilst stressed or just food shopping, the isles of sweet food that that used to haunt me no longer bother me and I can make much better decisions regarding my food choices and for my health.
I feel so much better as well as loosing nearly 1 stone in weight I hardly snore and my headaches are few and far between.
CLAIRE, I THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME FROM THE SUGAR BEAST!!"

"In my opinion Claire is a miracle worker! Not only have I not touched chocolate or biscuits since her Sweet Tooth Breakthrough session, which I was glutinous over, she has also managed to steer me away from all the sugary drinks I was having on a daily basis (squash, Diet Coke and hot chocolate) I now have water and fruit tea, without feeling deprived of my previous choices.
I had concerns it hadn’t worked initially as I didn’t ‘feel hypnotised’ but it was the first time for me so my expectations of what it would be like weren’t the same as the reality. Claire reassured me it had worked and she was right, I’m amazed that I can now not worry about dieting but actually enjoy my day to day food, still controlling my portion size but to go out for a meal and not have to make ‘the right food choice’ is an absolute joy!
I have still been able to enjoy a glass of wine and even a Baileys but any other artificial sugary foods/drinks, I’ve not even fancied, not even when my favourite biscuits are opened and left on the side…I just didn’t fancy them!
Thank you Claire, you’re amazing!
No more diets! Xx"

"Claire is amazing. She puts you at ease, the minute you speak to her on the phone prior to consultation. She spent time discussing my motives and what, exactly I hoped to get out of the session.
I initially wanted to stop eating chocolate and sweets, I also wanted to extend my pallet as I am such a fussy eater. I have not touched sweet stuff except fruit since I visited, I also choose to drink water instead of squash that I always drank and have not touched Pepsi max, nor wanted it! I have been out to dinner, ordered food I would normally avoid and I tried the fish my husband had ordered and would willingly order it at future meals out! I would highly recommend this process to anyone who really wants to control their ‘eating the wrong thing’ habits. Thank you Claire, you are my hero!"
